Carla Smith Obituary
Carla was born on October 21, 1957, in Marquette, Michigan, to Nancy (Zintman) and Robert Marceau. She was united in marriage to Ivan Smith on January 14, 1978. She was a military wife who raised three daughters while living and moving around the country and overseas. The couple managed the Oakwood Apartments in Onamia for 13 years. Carla loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was always the life of the party. Carla enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. She looked forward to traveling and fishing with Ivan.
Carla is survived by her loving husband, Ivan Smith; children, Katie Smith, Lisa Smith, Shellie Smith; grandchildren, Ethan and Maci Smith; brothers, Jeff (Teri) Marceau and Blaine Marceau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy (Zintman) and Robert Marceau; sister, Jill Baker; and her grandparents and many relatives.
