Carlene Flaugher, 76, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born March 13, 1949 in Etterville, Missouri, the daughter of the late Paul C and Mildred C. (Weckenborg) Thomas. On September 24, 1966 in Etterville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Ernie Flaugher who survives of the home.

Other survivors include,

Daughter, Lora Sexe (Rob) of Camdenton, MO

Son, Dale Flaugher (Shanna) of Eldon, MO

Ten Grandchildren, Sierrah (Keaton); Hannah (Max); Grace; Clair; Mitch; Alissa (Daniel) Brendon (Brenda); Elijah, Isaac and Gideon

Four Great-Grandchildren, Jasper; Amethyst; Sydrik, Varrik and baby Ulrik on the way.

Several Nieces and Nephews

Two brothers, David and Leroy, and a sister, Dolores preceded her in death.

Carlene was a member of the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO where she served as a Deacon. She was employed with Florsheim Shoe for thirty-nine years before retiring. She then worked from home for the family business. She was an avid antique hunter and fisherman.

Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM with Rev. Bill Foglesong officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the First Christian Church.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
