Carlie Jo McMahon

Carlie Jo McMahon, 34, born July 26, 1990, of Ft. Thomas, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Carlie was a beloved sister, daughter and friend to many. She is survived by her parents, David & Gayle (nee. New) McMahon; sisters, Molly Fassler, Jess (Scott) Bouldin and Abbey Ball; her beloved nieces and nephews, Mary Catherine, Gabe, Vivi and Ben Fassler; Eli, Finn and Gus Bouldin; and Charley, Greeley, Ray and Eloise Ball. She touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her faith, warm laugh and kindness brought light to all. Carlie was always ready to lend a hand, or a listening ear, whether in moments of joy or sorrow, she stood by those she loved with unwavering support and compassion. Her absence leaves an indescribable void in the hearts of her family and friends who will forever cherish the memories and the love she gave so freely. As we mourn her passing we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, through her large extended family and many friends. Her favorite times were spent with them on Sunday afternoons, Sunday Funday. Carlie was a brain tumor survivor and was granted a wish at eleven years old through the William S Olson Foundation, a local affiliate of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She remained active in supporting them the rest of her life. Carlie also adored her work family at Atlas Air where she was a Crew Scheduler/Trainer. The support from Atlas Air has been overwhelming. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 21st at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Ft. Thomas. A celebration of her life will be held following mass at the Highland Country Club. Carlie will be laid to rest at St. Stephen Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
