James P. Wagner "Jim", 74, of Harrison, passed away on September 19, 2025 at Harrison Trail Health Campus. Jim was born in Cincinnati, OH, but spent most of his young life in Bellevue, KY, where he attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and in Ft. He went on to obtain his MBA from Xavier University and started and successfully managed several businesses including Tower Antenna Management, Inc, (TAMI), Jim Wagner Associates (JWA), and Jewel Schaeffer Broadcasting Company. Jim always was an avid lover of music and went on to be a Chief radio engineer for WLW early in his career which paved the way for him to start and manage WAGX in Maysville KY. He married the love of his life and wife of 48 years in 1976. Jim lived most of his later adult years in Alexandria, KY, where he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, enjoyed his music, managing his radio station, swimming in his swimming pool, and tinkering as there wasn't anything that he couldn't fix or take apart. Jim truly was a master of many things. Jim remained a devoted Catholic till his last breath and took comfort in his faith. He was preceded in death by Father, George H Wagner, Sr., Mother, Julia G. James is survived by his Wife, Mary Helen Wagner of Harrison, OH, Daughter, Jami (Scott) Bien, Son, James (Janet) Wagner, Brother, George H Wagner, Jr., Granddaughter, Janet Lee Wagner, Grandson, Asher Bien, Grandson, Liam Bien, Grandson, Benedict "Benny" Bien, Grandson, Pius Bien (unborn). Visitation 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, September 26, 2025 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas.
