It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carlos Enrique Caceda on March 28, 2025, at the age of 86. Carlos passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Carlos was born in Nazca, Peru, but it was the snow-capped city of Recuay in Huaraz, Peru, that he considered home. When Carlos moved to Lima as a teenager, he became a guardian for his two younger siblings, guiding them with love and wisdom as they navigated their early years together.

Music was an integral part of Carlos's life. He loved to play the guitar, and he and his siblings eagerly entertained many with their singing and musical talents. The rhythm of his guitar echoed the resilience that defined his spirit.

While working as a courier, Carlos discovered what would become his lifelong passion for driving and exploration.

With the encouragement and support of his sister, Carlos emigrated with his young family to the United States. He became a proud driver for the MBTA as well as a driving school instructor, helping countless individuals obtain their first licenses. He was a natural teacher, patient, kind, and always eager to share his expertise.

Carlos leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Yanet, with whom he shared a deep and loving bond. Carlos is also survived by his children Liz, Beatriz, Leo, Ricky, Percy, Carlitos, Cesar, and Alex. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Nelly, and many other family members and friends who were fortunate to know him.

Carlos was a man of integrity, warmth, and humor, whose life was a testament to determination, hard work, love for family, and the joy of sharing his passions. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
