Carlos D. Edenfield

Carlos D. Edenfield passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, in his hometown of Grand Ridge, Florida.
Carlos was the son of the late Dock and Margie Branch Edenfield. His memory lives on through his beloved wife of 44 years, Wanda Edenfield, their daughter, Charity Hardbower (Randal), and their sons, Jaime Edenfield (Misty) and Jared Edenfield (Danica), brother Terry Edenfield and brother-in-law to Mary Gurley (Charles). Carlos also leaves five grandchildren, Mike (KeKe), Dustin (Christin), David (Noelle), Marci (Nick), and Breylan, as well as his great-grandchildren, Grayson, Elizabeth, Harper, and Ellie, and nieces Victoria Hurd, Vanessa Edenfield and Jenny Maldonado. He will also be fondly remembered by his very dear friend, Lisa Cobb, and his loyal canine companion, Chance. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Bohannon and a granddaughter, Skyiler Hoda Edenfield.
Carlos's journey through life was one of dedication and hard work. From the age of fifteen, he was known for his strong work ethic, which was most evident during his long tenure as a truck driver. Until he retired at the age of 70, Carlos was a valued employee of Baxter's Asphalt Company. His commitment to providing for his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in his profession.
Carlos was a musician who could play the guitar and fiddle. He loved to sing and entertain with imitations of singers.
Carlos's family would like to extend deep gratitude to his care team at Emerald Coast Hospice- Shane, Tonya, Victoria, Gino and Morgan- as well as Dr. John Brunner, for the compassionate care provided to him.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
