Carlos W. Flores, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with health challenges following a major stroke in 2019.
Born on March 4, 1950, in Brownsville, Texas, Carlos lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a strong work ethic. He was a man of generous spirit who cherished his family and friends.
Carlos enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of the open water. He was also a passionate sports fan, cheering on his beloved Houston Astros, Texans, and Rockets.
He is survived by his children: daughter, Cathy Eng, and sons, Carlos Flores Jr. and Bobby Aaron Flores. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Wilbrew, and his father, Carlos Flores Sr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
Please consider a donation as requested by the family.
