Services for Mr. Carlos Smith, 57 of Wisner, LA will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, with Rev. Jim Savage officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Smith was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Carlos had a love for food and cooking, was an entrepreneur most of his life working with computers until he went to work with Winnsboro State Bank in the IT department. He is preceded in death by his father William Smith and by his Sister Carolyn Smith.
Survivors include his mother, Dot Smith; children, Peyton Smith and wife Rachael, Sawyer Smith and wife Elizabeth; chosen daughter, Natalie Elmore; grandchildren, Alexis Collie, Mathew Collie, Aubrey Smith Ava Smith, Gabriel Smith Evangeline Smith; niece Jamie Tubbs; and his loving dog Dude.
Pallbearers will be John Brown, John Wright, Lionel B. Hilburn, Mel Smith, Little Don Smith, and Brian Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Howard Dee Smith and employees of Winnsboro State Bank, Gary Thomas, Darwin Day, and Clayton Maza.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday June 9, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.
