Carlynne Sue (Keeton) Patrick

74, passed away peacefully on August 18,2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on February 19,1951, Carlynne grew up in Wichita. She was a proud graduate of Wichita East High School, class of 1969, in 1973 while attending a square dance with her mother, she was introduced to Roger Patrick, the man she would later marry on December 14, 1973. Carlynne professional journey reflected her strong work ethic and diverse talents. She began her career at Beech Aircraft before moving into customer service roles at both Sears and Spiegel Catalog centers. Later, she found joy working at Tillies Flower Shop, where her passion for floral arranging blossomed into beautiful expressions of creativity. Whether crafting wreaths or working on other handmade projects, Carlynne's hands were always busy. She also enjoyed being a volunteer at the kid's school and though their other various extra-curricular activities. As a military spouse, Carlynne was awarded the Esteemed Artillery Order of Molly Pitcher award for her years of volunteer support for the field artillery community. As a devoted fan of the Wichita Wind Surge baseball team, she enjoyed cheering them on and sharing in the excitement of the game with those around her. Carlynne's greatest devotion was to her family. She shared a loving 51-year marriage with her husband, Roger, whose steadfast partnership was a cornerstone of her life. Together they raised two children, Rachelle (Matthew) Thunberg of Wichita and Richard (Allison) Patrick of Andover, Kansas. Carlynne's pride radiated brightest when speaking of her six granddaughters, Alexis, Morgan, and Caiden Patrick and Mattilynn, Molleigh, and Charleigh Thunberg. Each child held a special place in her heart. She is also remembered with love by her sisters, Karen (Jimmy) Grey and Sharon Garringer. Her sister-in-law, Sharon Patrick, Ralphena Dole, and Ralene (Emil) Bergquist, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins who were touched by her generosity and grace. She honored the memory of those who went before her, parents Carl & Ruth Keeton and F. Elizabeth & Everett Harden, as well as parents-in-law Ralph & Mildred Patrick, brothers-in-law, Robert Patrick, Rodney Patrick, Ronald Dole, and Tom Garringer, sister-in-law, Glenda Patrick.
