I wanted to let you all know that I thought very highly of your parents! Your dad was my best man at my wedding with Charlene. We met your mom and dad at a wedding reception years ago. They were sitting by their selves, so we we over and sat with them, and became very good friends. My parents thought a lot of them also. I had a chance to go to Bombay,India years ago with your dad, all expenses paid, when he had to go over to settle his dad's estate. But, I didn't go. I always regretted not going, as Lenny wanted me to. I want you kids to have our phone numbers. Mine is 567-279-2593, Charlene's is 567-279-2572. Your dad was very happy to be my best man at our wedding when I asked him. I wouldn't have had it any other way! They are alive and well in Heaven now, and you "will" see them again, and it will be forever!
God Bless All Of You!

It was indeed a privilege to get to know Carmel, we all looked forward to her visits at the Green Thumb. Her kind and loving spirit shined to everyone.
She was also an inspiration how she took such good care of Lenny during his illness. One day last year, while shopping at the market she consoled a newly grieving widow and watching her tenderness with this lady and how they cried together was I'm sure, one of the many kind gestures that she did.We will all miss her.
You have our deepest sympathy,

Mark, Joan, Della, and Steven; We were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, and we didn't know about your dad til several months afterword, and called her. She was getting ready to go to one of your houses to stay for three months, she said. Della, your were our flower girl at our wedding and we have pics with your Dad as Kevin's best man, and one of Kevin and I holding Steven. Though it has been many years since we have seen you, we still have great memories of helping to paint your house there on Boesel. Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss. She was a very nice, compassionate woman, with her work as a nurse's aide at the nursing home. You will all be in our prayers for the days and months ahead.

Dear Steve,

Mark and I are so sorry to hear of your loss once again. Your Mom & Dad were such good people, and so friendly too. We have many good memories of the years you and Brian ran and hung out together, and all the times we sat beside or near, your parents at meets. I can still see your Mothers beautiful smile, as your Dad would be yelling..... Go Steven! Those were some GREAT days, and we will never forget them.

May your Mother now R.I.P., alongside your Dad in Heaven. May we all someday, be seated next to them again.

Hugs!

We are so sorry for your loss. Our hearts break for all of you. She always made us feel so welcome. I just realized, I am the only "kid" left in the neighboorhood and I remember as a kid, your family having me over for supper- your Mom concerned about what I could eat- she was afraid the food would be too spicy, and made me something else. She always thought of others and was so kind. The neighborhood will have a hole in it without Carmel. May she rest in peace with Lenny.
