An accomplished cook, Carmela enjoyed preparing gourmet meals and time spent around the table with her cherished family. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She was also a talented seamstress.
Beloved wife of the late Russell Vizzi. Loving mother of Richard Vizzi and wife Cindy and Maria Droge and husband John. Cherished grandmother of John Russell Droge, Elizabeth Vizzi, Nicole Vizzi, Nicholas Droge, Lucas Droge and Russell Vizzi. Dear sister of Giuseppe Anello, Vita Infurna and the late Salvatore Anello, Nunzio Anello, Antonina Butera and Rosa Farruggia. She was predeceased by her loving parents Nunzio and Vita (nèe Bonfiglio) Anello.
The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, August 3, 2025, 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 4, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com.
