Carmelo Barbera Obituary
Born Thursday, March 25, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria Barbera.
He was the loving brother to Anna Crocilla. Dear brother-in-law to Peter Crocilla. Devoted uncle to Amanda Crocilla. Beloved life partner to Lourdes Belteton. Carmelo is also survived by loving friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Our Lady Star of The Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmelo's memory to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
