Carmen Bellon

Funeral services for Carmen Bellon, 64, of Chariton, will be held Wednesday, November 26th at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Chariton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in care of Carmen's family and will be designated at a later date.
Carmen Bellon was born April 8, 1961, in Corydon, Iowa to John and Twila (Haff) Bellon. She was the baby sister to eight siblings. Growing up in Corydon, she attended Wayne Community Schools. She worked in local restaurants and cafes for many years. Many people remember her at Joan's in Millerton and Pizza Hut in Chariton. She has been with the Hy-Vee store in Chariton for many years. She loved working with the public and enjoyed seeing all her friends and meeting new ones.
Carmen always looked out for others and was especially passionate about her working time with S.I.R.F. Outside of work, her grandchildren filled her heart. She loved going to their events, watching Harry Potter, and absolutely loved to spoil them with many presents at Christmas.
Carmen will be greatly missed by all who knew her, including her companion of 26 years, GW Wilkins; children: Jeremy (Brooke) Bellon, Amy (Conrad) Elmore, and Cody (Jeni) Moore; grandchildren: GraceAnn, Gabrielle, Genevieve, Tori, Alana, Cru, Peyton, and Brady; brother, Victor (Barb) Bellon; special friend Paige; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Twila Bellon; and siblings: Shelby Laughlin, Leona Bardwell, Nancy Gillaspy, Johnny Bellon, Viola Howie, Albert Bellon, and Terry Bellon. To send flowers to the family of Carmen, please visit our floral store.
