Carol E. Benware

Carol E. (Lembach) Benware, 72, of Blandon, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Reading Hospital, Berks County. She was the wife of Robert S. Benware to whom she was married 52 years this past July. Born in Allentown, October 4, 1953, Carol was the daughter of the late Earl R. Lembach, Sr. and Elizabeth "Betty" R. Lembach. She was working as an accountant for Miller Environmental Services, Reading for the past decade. Carol loved to travel and she enjoyed crocheting and puzzles.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Robert; sons, Christopher W. Benware and his wife, Courtney of Blandon, Matthew R. Benware and his wife, Kellie of Coplay; daughter, Jennifer R. Benware of Temple; brother, Earl R. Lembach, Jr. and his wife, Jean of Allentown; sister, Louise Lerch and her husband, Robert; brother-in-law, Robert Hersch; grandchildren, Aydan, Kyler, Taege, Thayde, Taylor, Jenna, Scarlett, Elliott, August; predeceased by sister, Karen "Vickie" Hersch.

Service: A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Allentown.
