Carol F. Brocious, age 91, of Erie, passed away on October 22, 2025 at Sarah Reed Senior Living in Erie. She was born in Erie on March 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Fredrick J and Ada Mae Bates Wickles.
Carol was a graduate of Millcreek High School and worked as a nurse’s aide, but most of all she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Grace Baptist and enjoyed bingo, RV camping and bowling.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband Donald, her three sons; John Frederick and his wife Cheryl, Dennis L., and Keith Brocious. She is survived by a daughter-in-law Patty Brocious and a daughter Karen Sue (Jerry) Covington, and grandchildren; Jennifer Hughes, Thomas, Ronald, Matthew Covington, Hannah and Sarah Brocious, and great grandchildren Brianna and Caleb Hughes, and Christina, Alexis and Thomas "TJ" Covington.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services at West Ridge 3801 West 26th St. Saturday November 8th from 1pm until the prayer service at 2pm. Private burial in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
