Durham, NC – Carol Sue Clary, age 86, died in Durham, North Carolina on February 5, 2024. She was born on October 9th, 1937 to the late Ethel and James Carlson.
Carol attended Richmond High School in Richmond Indiana and attended Berea College in Kentucky. While Carol held many jobs, including comptroller of the original Hilton Inn of Durham, her favorite of all was caring for children. Carol loved babies, books, gardening, crossword puzzles, laughter, and birds. She was a beloved neighbor, mother, grandmother, and friend, and famous for her "Carol Cookies".
Carol is survived by her husband Donald Clary, her daughter Elizabeth O'Donnell and son-in-law Jim O'Donnell, her son David Anderson, and her granddaughter Caroline Lass. Carol was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Friday, February 9th, 2024 starting at 2:00 p.m.
