Mrs. Carol Annette Hill Cobb, 71, of New Prospect Road, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.
Born on September 19, 1953 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Hill and Mozelle Holmes Hill. Mrs. Cobb was retired from RPAV as an office manager, and was formerly employed at Springs Industries. She was also a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband: Calvin Berry Cobb of Hartwell; three daughters: Carrie Mewborn (Johnny) of Hartwell, Christy Carter (Russell) of Royston, and Robyn Beele (Nicolas) of Hartwell; one brother: Joe Hill of Carnesville; one sister: Susan Rhinehart of Lavonia; six grandchildren: Brinsley Mewborn, Noah Mewborn, Desirée Carter, Harley Carter, Andrew Beele, Abigail Beele; and two great-grandchildren: Micah Kearns and Nova Mewborn. Mrs. Cobb is preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Robert Hill; and two sisters: Virginia Browning and Shirleen Eaves.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 7, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Cobb will be Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Adam Tripp and Rev. Josh Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
