Carol Ann Diebold passed away December 22, 2025, leaving a life defined by resilience, independence and devotion to her family. Carol was born on August 22, 1936, to the late Adelle and George D'Luge in Mt. Clemens. She was the beloved mother of Julie (Joseph) Beals, Jeffrey (Lori) Diebold. She was predeceased by her three sons, James, Steven and John. She is survived by her 6 Grandchildren Kristin (James) Bellar, Tara (Christopher) Hayward, Kimberly (John) Miller, Monica (Jason) Lewandowski, Alicia (Aaron) Swenson, Scott (Katy) Beals and 12 Great Grandchildren Benjamin, Wallis, Oliver, Holden, Henry, Hazel, Emmett, Beatrice, Iris, Ellis, Emory, and Margaret. Raised in a tight knit family she was blessed with 5 siblings Kathleen (The late Chester) Skubik, George (Sarah) D'Luge, Christine (Thomas) Bliss, Thomas (Christine) D'Luge, and James D'Luge and several nieces and nephews.
Carol found pleasure in knitting, crocheting, painting, reading and watching the Detroit Tigers! She enjoyed her employment as a medical biller and worked until the age of 78.
As a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves a legacy of wonderful memories.
In Lieu of flowers family requests that donations be made to Angel's Place in Southfield, Michigan.

I'm so sorry for her loss.
I remember when we'd go over (Salviati's) and we'd play with you and our parents would play cards. Great memories. Your mom was such a sweet person.
