Carol Sackin Eisner, 92 of Pompton Plains, NJ, formerly of Tenafly, NJ
passed away on February 22, 2023. Carol was lovingly referred to by many
as "one of a kind". She proudly hailed from Brooklyn, NY and later settled in
Tenafly where she lived for 50 years, raising her family and working as a
travel agent.
She enjoyed creating fabulous trips, tours and cruises for honeymooners and
vacationers. Carol was a long-time member of the Tenafly Garden Club and
frequently included garden tours as part of her travel expertise.
A devoted wife to Joseph G. Eisner for 48 years and loving mother to sons
Harvey and Carey. Carol is predeceased by her husband Joseph (2000) and
son Harvey (2014). She is survived by son Carey and his wife Ellen.
Carol was a friend that could be counted on by many, was a great cook and
loved to entertain family and friends. She enjoyed good music and the
theater. And loved to travel domestically and abroad.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 26 at 11:00 am at Robert
Schoem's Menorah Chapel, 150 Route 4 in Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers,
donations can be made in her name to: the American Association of Kidney
Patients at AAKP.org or 800-747-AAKP or to the V Foundation for Cancer
Research at www.v.org or 919-380-9505. May she Rest in Peace and may
her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
