Carol Jean Estep, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 71. Born on February 4, 1954, in El Paso, Texas, to Billy and Velma (Proctor) Coffman, while her father was stationed at Fort Bliss.

On October 21, 1972, Carol married Lyman Estep, her steadfast partner in life's journey. Together, they were blessed with three children, forging a family legacy characterized by love and cherished memories. Carol's role as a mother was one of her proudest achievements, and she instilled in her children the values of kindness, creativity, and faith.

Carol's nurturing spirit extended to her children, Michael Estep and wife Brandy of Springdale, Arkansas, grandchildren, Cassie Willis and husband Josh, Zachary, Jadon and Aliaza Estep. Son, Mark Estep of Reeds Spring, Missouri, with grandchildren Trayton and Lexie Estep. Daughter Lucinda Estep and Chris, of Ozark, Missouri, with grandchildren Bryan Estep, Jewel and Luke Sherman, and Kaizlee Estep.

Her siblings, Sonny Coffman and wife Carol, Pam Feagans and husband Danny Russow, and Debbie Baranowski and husband Larry, remember Carol as a loving sister whose creative spirit and warmth were a constant source of comfort and joy. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Travis Savard, but she leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will continue to resonate through the lives of her family, including her several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carol attended Shepherd's Chapel church in Gravette, Arkansas, where she nurtured her Christian beliefs and found strength and solace in her faith.

Her interests were a reflection of her vibrant spirit and creative soul. Carol was an avid reader, her mind always hungry for knowledge and stories. She possessed a remarkable talent for coloring, her artworks reflecting the beauty she saw in the world. A lover of the culinary arts, Carol's cooking was a manifestation of her love for her family, each dish prepared with care and affection.

Animals held a special place in Carol's heart, and she cared for her beloved dog until the end. Her passion for painting and decorating her house was an outlet for her creativity. Carol's collection of books, music, movies, and tiny tea sets was a testament to her appreciation for culture and beauty.

Carol Jean Estep will be remembered as a loving, faith-filled, and creative soul who brought light and joy to all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind.

A family directed memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Oldfield Full Gospel Church (2626 MO- Highway 125, Oldfield, MO 65720).
