Carol Sue Fisher, age 75, of Virgie, Ky, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the UK Medical Center. She was born on September 30, 1949, the son of the late Rohn and Juanita Wolford Blankenship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Addison Fisher, by her daughter, Crystal Fisher, by three brothers, Ronald (Nancy) Blankenship, Roger Blankenship, Herbie Wolford and by a sister, Rosie (Delmer) Lambdin.
Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed attending Solid Rock Church.
Carol is survived by three daughters, Taunya (Steve) Riddle, Angela (John) Stout and Kimberly (Dale) Sheppard, by two brothers, Bobby (Debbie) Blankenship and Stevie Maynard, by two sisters, Veronica Maynard and Lisa Maynard, by seven grandchildren, China Riddle (Nathan Wheat), Cierra Riddle, Trinity Martell (Tim), Charity Merrell, Bethany Merrell-Ford, Kaylee Sheppard and Kandice Sheppard, by an adopted grandchild, Amy Hampton (Bobby), by two adopted great grandchildren, Khloe Maynard and Haleigh Maynard, by her fur babies, Sally Sue, Sadie and Moses and by numerous family and friends who will miss her and loved her dearly.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, after 4 pm at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
