Carol Foos Obituary

Born August 15, 1948, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was the only child of the late Anthony and Myra Korb. Carol was raised in the Catholic faith.
Carol worked at RCA/GE/Harris/Intersil/Fairchild for 40+ years in manufacturing.
On July 22, 2000, she married Mitch Foos and together they shared over 25 happy years of marriage.
Carol led a very active lifestyle, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and going motorcycle rides with her husband. She loved the beach and cooking for her family and friends. Carol was also very fond of visiting Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
In addition to her husband Mitch, she is survived by two daughters: Chelsea Anne Foos of Ohio and Nicole Anne Thacker of North Carolina and her beloved canine companion: Cyrus.
There will be a celebration of life held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 6pm- 8pm at the Mayo Funeral Home, 77 North Main Street, Shickshinny, PA 18655. There will be a break at 7pm for a memorial service, officiated by Rev. Philbert Takyi-Nketiah, St. Mary's / Holy Spirit Parish, Mocanaqua.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mayo Funeral Home, Shickshinny. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's name can be made to your local Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
