Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels - Waltham on Nov. 13, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Frost of Waltham,
Massachusetts, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Robert Frost, and together they built a beautiful life and raised seven children: Wayne (deceased) of North Carolina, Warren (Donna) of Colorado, James (deceased) (Stacy) of Colorado, Karen Neitz of North Carolina, Linda McPherson (James) of Massachusetts, Robert of Massachusetts, and Brian (Samantha) of Oregon. She was the proud Nana to 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren- each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and laughter. Carol was a sister of Frank Herbert Bissett III (Judy) of Massachusetts and the aunt to a host of treasured nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Waltham High School, Carol's life was filled with creativity, warmth, and an enduring love for her family. She found joy in the simplest and most beautiful things: knitting, embroidery, crochet, painting, and decorating-her artistic touch could turn any space into a reflection of love and comfort. She was an avid interior decorator, a devoted pet lover, and someone who could often be found playing on the floor with her grandkids, her laughter echoing through the room.
In her younger years, Carol loved ice skating and never missed watching her favorite Winter Olympic skating events. Later in life, she surprised everyone by becoming quite the video game enthusiast, with Legend of Zelda and Doom among her favorites. Whether playing piano duets with her father, working on puzzles, or watching scary movies, Carol lived with a joyful and curious spirit that inspired everyone who knew her.
A passionate fan of Tom Brady's Patriots and the Boston Celtics, Carol brought her same energy and enthusiasm to cheer for her teams as she did to her family celebrations. Her favorite times were always those spent together-family events, Christmas gatherings, especially her annual Christmas party, which became a cherished Frost family tradition. She and Leslie shared countless memories, but few were more special than their 25th wedding anniversary vow renewal and honeymoon in Acapulco.
Carol's heart was happiest at home-wherever that home happened to be-though she especially cherished time spent in Dennis Port, Cape Cod, and on trips to St. John's, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Those who knew Carol will remember her as playful, feisty, creative, and fiercely protective of the ones she loved. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a charming spirit, and a boundless love that touched generations of her family.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who were lucky enough to know her.
A Graveside service in Celebration of Carol's life will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at 11AM in Mt. Feake Cemetery located, 203 Prospect Street
Waltham, MA.
