Patricia D. Venini (Ferro), 84, of
Waltham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at Meadow Green nursing home surrounded by her family, on November 3, 2025.
Born to Rita and John Ferro, Pat was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother whose sassy and loving spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was truly the life of every party.
Born and raised in Waltham and a graduate of Waltham High, Pat dedicated over 40 years of her life to nursing, caring for patients with compassion and kindness. Most of those years were spent at Waltham Hospital working alongside her dear friends. Her dedication to helping others reflected the deep empathy and love she shared with her family and friends.
She was an avid sports fan, with a particular passion for NASCAR - her favorite driver being Kevin Harvick. Pat also loved traveling and exploring new places; among her many trips, she especially cherished vacations to Jamaica with her husband and her yearly summer vacations to Cape Cod.
Most of all, Pat's heart belonged to her four grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. She was lovingly known as the best Nana anyone could have had, always prioritizing their joy and happiness. She took no shame in bragging about the four of them to anyone who would listen.
Pat is survived by her children Dede Antonellis and her husband Mark, Kathleen Leonard and her husband Chris, and their families, including grandchildren Cody Leonard, Ryan Leonard and his partner Paul Joseph Poirier III, Kasey Antonellis and her fiancé Sean Kenney and Cameron Antonellis. As well as many nieces, nephews and her dear friends Jackie and Tony Lampasona.
Predeceased by her husband of 57 years Roy Venini and her brother John Ferro.
She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her humor, bubbly personality, and the love she freely shared with all who knew her.
Many thanks to the staff at Meadow Green nursing home for the tremendous amount of love and support they gave not only to her but to her family.
