Carol Hindin

On Friday, September 6, 2024, Carol Hindin of Bethesda, MD passed away. Beloved long-time partner of the late Norman Forster, devoted mother of Natalie Slobodin and the late Gary M. Schneider, devoted mother-in-law to Alan Slobodin, and devoted step-mother to Joel, Debra, Michael and Sharon for 25 years, loving sister of Richard Hindin and the late Arnold Hindin, and cherished aunt of Lee, David, Jodi, Stuart, and beloved Tia Carol to Jose and Pamela.
Carol was pure gold-- always caring, loving, and present for family and friends alike. She was a business woman having owned two thriving needlework/dollhouse miniature stores in the 1970's and 1980's in Olney and Colesville, MD. She went on to become a sought after bridal consultant for Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Bed Bath and Beyond. Nothing was more important to her than family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, 12 p.m. at Temple Emanuel Congregation, 10101 Connecticut Ave., Kensington, MD 20895 in the main sanctuary with interment to follow to Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville, MD 20853. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation (wish.org) or Soldier's Best Friend (soldiersbestfriend.org).
