Carol Hughes Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
September 5, 2025 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. Interment will be in College Park Cemetery.
Carol had a successful nursing career, spending time in management, consulting, and program development. Her
avocation was flying and she served as a flight instructor. Another of her passions was genealogy. She loved children and
enjoyed spending time with her many cousins and their children. Carol lived a full life with a fierce independence and
determination. She is survived by her loving cousins. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am Friday, September 5, 2025 at the funeral home.
