Carol Ann Jackson (Harrison), age 86, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, at NHC Farragut in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Born on November 16, 1939, in Knoxville, Carol grew up in Maryville and graduated from Everett High School. She was the daughter of Otice and Mildred Harrison. She married William Gary Jackson and raised a family with him in Knoxville.
Carol dedicated 22 years of service to Kmart on Clinton Highway before retiring. Her strong work ethic and reliability earned the respect of both colleagues and customers.
A devoted member of Farragut Church of Christ, Carol found deep meaning in her spiritual life. Her involvement in the church reflected her commitment to serving others with kindness and humility.
Carol's greatest joy came from her family and her beloved dogs. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Simpson; sons William Jackson, Michael Jackson (Beverly), and Ricky Jackson (Christina); grandchildren William, Lindsey, Lauren, Sean, and Eamon; and four great-granddaughters who brought happiness to her later years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gary Jackson, as well as her parents.
She will be remembered as a thoughtful presence whose warmth touched many lives through quiet acts of care and enduring friendships. She spent her summers in her youth at the family Harrison Farm in Vonore Tn. on the banks of the Little Tennessee river. The farm became a special place for Carol and family for reunions, weekends and special occasions providing family memories for generations.
On Monday, December 29the family will receive friends at 10am till noon with funeral following at the Farragut Church of Christ located at 136 Smith Rd. Knoxville Tn. 37934. A graveside service will be held at Clark's Grove Cemetery in Maryville Tn. At 3 pm the same day.
