Carol Susan Katzer

Carol Susan Katzer (nee Tishim) age 84, of Hartford WI, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville Wisconsin.
Carol was born on January 7, 1939, to her parents Irene Grzechowiak and Frank Tishim in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
Carol was involved in many organizations throughout her life. She was a past St. Peter's Catholic Church Christian Mother's President, Program Director and Vice President of the "Hi-Lite Happy Workers", she was a leader in the Slinger 4-H Club, as well as a project and field trip director. One of Carol's accomplishments was being a part of the "Parents without Partners" Board of Directors and Newsletter editor and winning a national award for her involvement in the article.
Carol is survived by her son, Bob Katzer; daughter, Susan Smith; and sister, Ellen Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Irene Tishim; and her son Kevin Katzer.
A gathering for Carol will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Shimon Funeral Home. Family will greet relatives and friends from 3:30p.m. until 5:30p.m. Burial at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery will follow at 6:00p.m with Rev. Rick Stoffel Officiating.
