Carol Jean Knoff, 89, passed away Sunday, June 29th at Bethany Nursing Home at South University. Carol was born in Bismarck, ND on August 24th, 1935. She grew up in Sterling, ND on a farm with her parents and two sisters, Ruth (Olson) and Helen (Dancer). She graduated from Bismarck High School and attended VC State College and Moorhead State University. Carol received her bachelor's in education and went on to be a 2nd grade teacher in Fargo for 25 years. She married Curtis Knoff in Glenwood, MN in 1959. Curtis passed away in August 1974. Carol loved traveling with her sisters and cherished her time with her sons. She also remained connected to many of her retired teacher friends. She loved planning get-togethers with them. Carol is survived by two sons, Peter and Kurt. There is no service scheduled currently.
