Curtis visited the PSU DuBois Campus Library often. He baked pie for the employees and shared many interesting stories with us. We will miss him!

I've learned of Curt's passing late, but I remember him fondly from the years that we worked together in 1978-80 in the Corps of Engineers Susquehanna Area Engineer on the Tioga-Hammond and Cowanesque Dams and Lakes projects in Tioga County. Curt was a key member of the staff of engineers that managed the construction of those multi-million dollar projects which provided flood risk reduction for communities downstream. Curt's legacy from his professional work on those projects and others in his career is one of serving the people of the Midatlantic region to enhance the quality of life and safety for them. Given the opportunity, one can look upon those large projects and remember Curt, for he helped to build them.

Curtie was such a kind man. We always sat together in church and he would help me get to my my car safely in the winter. Hope you will get to see my sister in heaven and share your school memories.

A man of unwavering faith and unconditional love for his fellow man. If there ever was a man that the Lord was glad to see it was Curtis. I was blessed in his company when I brought him the Eucharist. You are peace my friend.
