Carol Kring Obituary
Carol was born in Salem on November 17, 1945, to the late Eugene and Mildred Pedigrew Zeigler.
Carol was an educator in the West Branch Local School District. She was a member of the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church, a 1963 graduate of Salem High School, and a recipient of a bachelor's in education from Kent State University.
Along with her Husband Lewis, who preceded her in death, Carol raised two wonderful children: Son W. Russell (Tami) Kring of Alliance and Daughter Kimberly (Chuck) Strum of Chester, West Virginia. Carol was the proud grandmother of Taylor, Devin, and Russ Kring, and Wyatt Strum, and great-grandmother of Jackson Kring. Carol was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth, and leaves behind her sisters, Darlene (Richard) Shasteen of Milton, VT, and Linda (William) Muckleroy of Salem.
Plans are being made for a private family memorial service. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting with these arrangements. With Carol's career of teaching and Lou's life of horses and rodeo, the family asks that Memorial contributions be made in Carol's name to http://www.dreamingofthree.org a 501c3 non profit organization dedicated to charitable fundraising through the passion of horses and rodeo. Their main focus is providing help and a fun family night out for children with cancer.
