Carol A. Kulpa, 87 of Oglesby died Sunday December 7, 2025 in her home.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday December 11, 2025 in Holy Family Church, Oglesby. Rev. Paul Carlson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery, LaSalle.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Shields Funeral Chapel, Oglesby is in charge of arrangements.
Carol was born July 24, 1938 in LaSalle to John and Justine (Danczak) Bokuniewicz. She married Ronald "Koko" Kulpa November 29, 1958 in Holy Family Church, Oglesby. He died September 1, 2018.
Carol was a telephone operator for Illinois Bell before becoming a homemaker. Being a wife, mom and grandma was her favorite role in life.
She was a lifelong member of Holy Family Church, a CCD teacher at Holy Family Church and was the volunteer librarian at Holy Family School.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, music and traveling with her husband.
She is survived by her children; Kim (Ron) Groleau of Peru and Jeff Kulpa of Oglesby and a grandson Brad Groleau.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
