Carol A Lally

Carol Lally, 84, of Wall, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025.

Carol grew up in Paterson, New Jersey, and throughout her life lived in Alaska and Maine. In recent years, she spent most of her time in Brick and Wall, New Jersey. She dedicated much of her career to working as a secretary for AIG Insurance, where she formed lasting friendships that she cherished deeply.

Carol found great joy in attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events, visiting Atlantic City, and going to concerts and comedy shows. Above all else, her family meant everything to her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Frederick Westerholt; her sister, Penny Westerholt; and her beloved son, Douglas Lally.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Jan Lally; her grandchildren, Nikki Dwyer and Jessie and Mike Capper; her great-grandchildren, Belle and Jazzy Dwyer, and Hayley, Audrey, and RaRa Capper; and close family member Kenny Walker.

Carol was a pivotal part of her family, and she will be terribly missed. She loved spending time with her family, especially spoiling her great grandbabies. She was always there to support her loved ones, whether cheering from the stands at a game or offering strength and comfort during life's more difficult moments.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday December 16, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Orender Family Home for Funeral 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan NJ 08736. There will be a prayer service held at 5:00 pm. Interment will be on Wednesday December 17, 2025, at 12 noon at Laural Grove Cemetery 295 Totowa Road Totowa, NJ 07512.
