Carol Lane

Carol Francis Clark Lane, 76, of Hustonville passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. Born January 11, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Clay and Jessie Burl Tarter Clark. In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Lane; son, Billy Lane; brothers, David and Ronald Clark; and sister, Louise Aguirre.

Carol has been a member of General Assembly Church of the First Born since 1973. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and spoiling her grandkids. She was an excellent cook, had worked as the "lunch lady" at Hustonville Elementary School, ran Lane's Restaurant in Hustonville, and had served as custodian with Larry for People's Bank of Hustonville. She was also a member of the Concerned Bikers of Kentucky where she had served as treasurer.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Karen Coffman of Liberty; daughter-in-law, Sondra Lane of Lancaster; brothers, Donald (Agatha) Clark and Gerald (Deborah) Clark, both of Liberty; sisters, Glenda Prosser of Hustonville and Linda Simpson of Middleburg; grandchildren: Larry (Brandy) Cooper of Morgantown, Kendra Singleton (Kyle) of Somerset, Spencer Lane of Lancaster, and Cameron Lane of Lancaster; great grandchildren: Luke Sneed, Amelia Cooper, and Xavier and Cayden Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1 pm on Friday at the funeral home with Bro. Darin Lane and Bro. Donald Clark officiating. Burial will be at Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Philip Daniel Elmore, Robert Carl Lane, Philip Lane, Spencer Lane, Larry Cooper, Aaron Brock, Robert Singleton, Duane Wilham, and Luke Sneed, Honorary pallbearers are Cameron Lane, Marvin Lane, Kyle Minton, and Kyle Maddox
