Carol Lawyer Obituary
Carol graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cincinnati and dedicated her career to nursing, moving to California where she was in charge of the Children's Department before moving back to Cincinnati after 10 years. Carol retired from Providence Hospital (now Mercy Health). Her calling as a nurse allowed her to touch countless lives, reflecting her unwavering commitment to caring for others.
A beloved member of the Miami Whitewater Community Church and the Crosby Historical Society, Carol engaged deeply with her community, spreading kindness and warmth wherever she went. She is survived by her sister, Ada Mondary, and a host of cherished nieces and nephews who will carry her spirit forward.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Thomas I. and Alma (nee Schlemmer) Lawyer, along with her siblings: William Lawyer, Martha Johnson, Thomas W. Lawyer, and Floyd P. Lawyer.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Crosby Historical Society or City Gospel Mission.
Let us come together to celebrate a life filled with love, devotion, and service, cherishing the memories we shared with Carol Marie Lawyer.
The family would like to thank all of the caring staff at Harrison Trails that took such great care of Carol during her last year and thank Hospice of Cincinnati.
