Carol L. Lewis

Carol L. Dobson Lewis, 80, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie on June 30, 1945, a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Breen Dobson.
She attended St. James School. Alongside of her husband, she was a co-owner and notary public for their business, Freedom Used Cars, until their retirement.
Carol was a member of the Moniuszko Club, American Legion Post #571, and the Polish Falcons. She enjoyed going to clubs, her many friends, and playing poker with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Lewis, and her grandchildren, Ryan Michael and Dylan Bliss.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Crolli (Jeff) of Erie, Debbie Richardson of Waterford, and Roberta Couture of Gainesville, GA; her son, Ronald Lewis of Erie; her grandchildren, Brad, Brandy, Amie, Cayla, Paige, Justin, and Shelby; 12 great-grandchildren; her brother, Charles Dobson of Erie; her sisters, Mary Lou Conklin of Girard and Peggy Chatham (Buzzy) of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Moniuszko Club,1209 Reed St., Erie, Pa 16503 on Sunday, December 14th from 1 pm to 4 pm.
