Carol J. Linderman

Carol Lindeman, at 90 years old, was called to heaven on March 25, 2026.

As a graduate of Central Catholic, Mt. St Joseph College, and with advanced college studies in a variety of interests, Carol served as a librarian in the Canton City School System for most of her 33-year career. An avid reader, Carol had a plethora of books within her and her mother’s home, enjoying the works of many authors.

A servant leader, Carol lived her life with gentleness, kindness, and compassion toward all, especially when taking care of our mother in her final years. Having had a special place in her heart for God’s four-footed furry animals, Carol earnestly found homes for many kitties and puppies. They were given to her to later be adopted, or she took them into her home and nurtured the many “throw aways.” Carol was a modern St. Frances!

Preceded in death were her parents Marie and Joseph Lindeman, her brother-in-law, Lou Thomas, and her nephew, Lou Thomas II. Carol is survived by her sister, Christine (Lou) Thomas, her nephew, Greg Thomas, and her great nephews: John, Bobby, Louie, and Gregory Thomas. A private family celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.
