She was born in Clifton, New Jersey, and lived in Township West Milford, New Jersey till she and her late husband moved to the springs. While living in VT they purchased and refurbished the Cottage Delicatessen, which she ran as her husband was a West Milford, Motorcycle Patrolman for 25 years, before retirement.
She and her husband Larry were active residents of the Antelope Ridge Community, since 2006. They were motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoyed traveling across the United States with friends. They continued their hobby even after moving to Colorado Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Loughlin; and parents, Frank R. Schwarz and Marie E. (Smith) Schwarz.
She is survived by two sons, Joe Laky and Michael Laky; two granddaughters, Jessica and Danielle Laky; a sister Jean McKimmey and her very beloved dog Benji of 10 years.
