Carol Lowden Obituary

Born May 17, 1940 to the late Howard and Glacel Herrington Wiley, Carol lived a life rooted in faith and joy. Her Presbyterian faith was central to her, and she was a proud and active member of Mountours Presbyterian Church.
Carol had a dedicated career working with several insurance companies, where she specialized in writing warranties. She also spent time working at H.H. Roberts, where she formed many lasting friendships.
She loved traveling to Hilton Head and Savannah, places that brought her wonderful memories and happiness. At home, her golden retriever, Gus, was her cherished companion and best friend.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Wiley and her beloved husband, Edward. Surviving are her sons Scott (Shannon Tassick) Lowden and Douglas (Dawn) Lowden; her grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, and Douglas; and her great -grandchildren Mac and Marlowe.
Interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carol's memory to GRIN (Golden Retrievers in Need Rescue). https://www.grinrescue.org/
