Ruth Ann Lowden, born on June 23, 1942, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. Ruth Ann was a beloved mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.
She leaves behind her five cherished children: Anthony, Bernard, Stephanie, Yvette, and Germaine Lowden. Ruth Ann was also a loving sister to her brothers Bobby and Emmanuel, and her sister Mary Lowden. She was a proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
Ruth Ann's legacy is one of love, compassion, and dedication to her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on her birthday, June 23, at 1pm at Watkins Garrett and Woods at 1011 Augusta Street Greenville SC 29605, to celebrate both her birthday and the day she got her wings. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share their fondest memories.
May she rest in peace.
