Patrick J. Lowden of Burlington City passed away Sunday September 28, 2025 at Samaritan Hospice Mt. Holly at the age of 86. Born in Mt. Holly, Pat was a longtime Burlington City resident. He retired as the head of maintenance for Occidental Chemical Co., (formerly Teneco) in Burlington Township after many years of service. He was a US Air Force veteran, serving honorably during the Korean War. After his active duty service, Pat transferred to the NJ Air National Guard serving until 1995 and retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and teaching them to play baseball. He also played baseball during his time in the Air Force with one of their travel teams. He was a former member of the Mitchell Fire Co. IV in Burlington City and a member of many of the clubs in Burlington such as the Oneida Boat Club, Roma Club, TK Club and the Victor Emmanuel Society. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post 79 in Burlington. Pat had a lifelong love of sports and was an avid fan of both the Philles and the Eagles. He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer F. and Mary (nee Dugan) Lowden, his son Edward Lowden and his brothers and sisters in law; Raymond and Barbara Lowden and Norman and Gail Lowden. Pat is survived by his wife Lois (nee Schnitzer) Lowden, his son Joseph Lowden and grandchildren Joey Lowden and Lexie Lowden as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A viewing for Pat will be held Monday, October 6, 2025 from 9-10am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 10am with burial following in Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
