Carol Ann McMillan, age 70, passed away on October 26, 2024 at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Washington D.C. to Harry and Virginia (Harris) Callahan Sr.
Being from a military family, they moved around. Carol and her brother, Harry mainly grew up in Nebraska. She loved to paint and was a wonderful decorator. She painted ceramics, saw blades and even murals on the walls. She had the vision in her head and when she was done, it was a beautiful masterpiece. She loved her cats and watching her chickens. Carol was a very kind soul, always positive and never had a cross word for anyone. She was married to William for thirty years and still could never remember their wedding anniversary. That didn't bother Carol, she just went on with life being happy. Carol had two children, the joys of her life. Carol had suffered with MS for many years but kept fighting.
She is survived by her loving husband William, her two children Kelley Coggin and Kevin Cline, three stepchildren Shannon (Lori) McMillan, Patrick (Nicole) McMillan and Sydney Cuvelier. Her two grandchildren Autumn Coggin and Brady Coggin; her father Harry Callahan Sr. and her brother Harry Callahan Jr., along with other extended family members.
A visitation for Carol will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 12:00 pm with the service following at 1:00 PM at Meadors Funeral Home.
