Carol Ann Memmo, 72, passed away April 21, 2024 in her Sinking Spring residence, surrounded by her family. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Wilbur J. and Arlene (Shade) Hoffert. Carol was the loving wife of Camillo Memmo, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years of marriage.
Carol was a 1969 graduate of Wilson High School where she was a proud member of the marching band. She received training to become a licensed practical nurse and worked at Reading Orthodontic Group and Berks Heim, where she retired from after 20 years.
Carol had a passion for gardening and flowers, finding joy in tending to her plants. She cherished trips to the beach and moments in Florida with her son. Cooking and caring for her pets brought her immense happiness, but above all, her family was most important.
In addition to her husband, Camillo, she will be deeply missed by her children: Courtney Rae Memmo, of Sinking Spring, Crystal Elizabeth Memmo, of Sinking Spring, and Cameron Camillo Memmo, of Land O' Lakes, FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Dominic, Chase, and Charlotte.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11AM at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 4891 Penn Avenue Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Friends and family will be received from 10-11AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087 or to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road Birdsboro, PA 19508.
Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be written at www.KuhnFuneralHomes.com.

I was so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I had dog sat for Carol & Camillo and met them while working at my Vet's office. Prayers for the Camillo and the family. Vicky
