Carol Anne Morgan-Eagle, a vibrant spirit who was truly a “force of nature,” departed this world on November 12, 2025. Born in1959, Carol lived a life rich with beauty, love, and artistic expression, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Throughout her life, Carol exemplified kindness and outgoing warmth, effortlessly connecting with strangers and friends alike. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Daniel Pretends Eagle, with whom she shared 40 wonderful years of marriage. Their love story began in the beautiful setting of Yosemite, where they vowed to follow beauty in all its forms. Together, they created a life filled with adventure, laughter, and love that spanned over three decades.
Carol had a profound love for nature, the ocean, and, in particular, the enchanting country of Italy. A self-proclaimed California girl at heart, she found joy in the sun-kissed beaches and the serene waves that painted her landscape. Her passions extended beyond nature; she was an accomplished photographer whose work captured compelling and beautiful moments in time, showcasing her unique perspective on the world around her.
An equally talented vocalist, Carol proudly performed for 26 years alongside her husband Dan in the band Bone Orchard. Her voice brought life to their music, intertwining her artistic talents with their shared dreams. Additionally, she found joy and grace in Scottish Highland dancing, showcasing her spirited energy and love for performance.
Carol is survived by her loving husband Daniel, her sister Candy Grossett, and her beloved poodle, Rey Skywalker. Each of them, along with many friends and family members whose lives she beautifully touched, will carry cherished memories of her indomitable spirit.
A memorial service to honor Carol's life and legacy will be held in the spring of 2026, as friends and family gather to celebrate the lasting impact she made on those who loved her so dearly. In every photograph, in every note sung, and in every life she touched, Carol's brilliance will continue to shine brightly, reminding us all to embrace beauty and live life to the fullest.
