Carol Lynne Bell Oldroyd was born to Thomas Lowell and Crystal Mary (Beutler) Bell on May 23, 1939, in Salt Lake City. She passed away on September 8, 2025, in Richfield, Utah. As a child, she lived in various places until she was seven, when the family moved to Richfield, Utah. She graduated from Richfield High School in 1957. She married Jack M. Oldroyd on May 24, 1957. Their marriage was solemnized in St. George Temple on June 22, 1963.
During their married life, Carol and Jack lived in California, Utah, Arizona, and Washington. While living in Washington, she worked as a budget analyst for 25 years for the Bureau of Reclamation, retiring in September 1993. Carol and Jack returned to live in Richfield in 2001.
Carol was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loves her Savior and her family. She enjoyed helping people and was active in numerous volunteer organizations.
Carol is survived by her husband Jack, son Thomas Van, sisters Nicola Snedeger and Beverly (Will) Draughon, granddaughter Crystal (Dominic) Palmer, great-granddaughter Shealynn Daugherty, and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lowell and Crystal Mary (Beutler) Bell; son, Richard Jack; brother, Thomas Paul Bell; and a special friend, Scott Partch.

Graveside Services will be on Monday, 12:00 Noon, September 15, 2025, in the Richfield City Cemetery
A viewing will be held from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Magleby Mortuary that morning before services.
