Carol M. Ortt, a beloved member of her community and a dedicated Cosmetologist, passed away on June 26, 2023, in Shoreview, Minnesota. Born on August 17, 1947, Carol lived a life filled with creativity, artistry, and connections to family and friends who cherished her presence.
Throughout her career, Carol made a significant impact as a cosmetologist, using her skill and passion to bring beauty and confidence to those around her. Her expertise and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on her clients and colleagues alike.
Carol was preceded in death, by her loving parents, Peter Rosenberger and Mary Wayman.
She was followed in death by her beloved husband, Wilfred "Will" Ortt.
She is survived by her cousin and dear friend, Kathy Buttron, as well as her brother-in-law, Bernard Ortt, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. Carol's legacy will continue through the lives she touched and the indelible mark she left on those who knew her.
A graveside service to honor Carol's life will take place at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (Assembly Area #3), 7601 34th Ave. So., Minneapolis. Please arrive to Assembly Area #3 by 10:15 am. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all who knew and loved Carol to come together, reflect on her life, and celebrate the joy she brought into the world.
Carol M. Ortt will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the love she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
