Carol Jean Pellicciotti (Murray), 87, of Vestal, NY, entered into her eternal resting place in heaven on November 24, 2024, surrounded by her devoted and loving family. A beautiful woman full of life, love, spirituality, who sported a permanent smile on her face. Married and survived by the love of her life for 65 years, Albert. A wife, mother, family caregiver and dental hygienist alongside her twin brother, Don. She was a devout Roman Catholic who was involved at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church in many ministries as well as with The Ladies of Charity. One of her greatest gifts was passing her faith to her children. She brought joy, a smile, generosity and her Irish spirit to everyone she met.
Carol was predeceased by her beloved family: parents Joseph C. and Beatrice Murray; siblings Marlyn Farrell Wilson (Jerome, Ken); Barbara Kuklis (Ernie) and her fraternal twin, Dr. Donald Murray (Denise), and her in-laws, Edward and Marie Pellicciotti and special Uncle Corey Pellicciotti along with cherished Grandma Harrington who came to live with her family when "the twins" were born.
Carol is survived by her brother, Joseph Murray (Eileen), brother-in-laws Edward "Toppy" Pellicciotti, Robert Pellicciotti, and sister-in-law, Susan Hendery. Carol's four children: Michael (Nancy), Mark, David (Catherine) and Maria and Mark Papa. She is also survived by her grandchildren: John, Andrew (Alison), Corey (Kaitlin), Henry (Alisha), Jacob, Jessica, Madeline Papa, Gina Ross (Jimmy) and Holly Difonzo (Anthony). Her large and growing group of great grandchildren: Sophia, Nicolette, Adeline, Aiyanna, Jacklynn, Amari, Connor, Edelyn, Harlow, Nora, Mia, Cobie, and Callie. Carol, a twin herself, will be a heavenly great grandma to twins on the way, which delighted her. Aunt Carol adored her nieces and nephews and was blessed with many lifelong friendships.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal, Saturday November 30, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy in Carol's memory may be made to the Nearly New Shop Ladies of Charity, 331 Main Street Binghamton, NY 13905.

Carol was a beautiful soul, and her smile was a window into her kind heart. I will miss her as I know many will. She was a testament to a life while lived. Xoxo Susan
