Dateline: Clifton Park Carol Jane Pezzi passed away peacefully, in her sleep, on August 23, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on September 20, 1938, in Schenectady, NY, to the late Raymond and Rose Passmore, Carol's life was a vivid tapestry of family, friendship, and an unwavering zest for life.
Carol was a graduate of Draper High School and furthered her education at Mildred Elley, where she honed the skills that would serve her throughout her career. Carol's professional journey at General Electric as an Executive Assistant was marked by diligence and dedication, with her talents taking her from Schenectady to Greenville, South Carolina, before she retired.
She was a woman whose presence was felt the moment she entered a room her laughter infectious, her sense of style impeccable.
Friends and family knew Carol as a vibrant soul who loved to entertain and decorate, creating beautiful spaces and memories. She had a passion for fashion and clothing and always liked to look her best. Carol's love for golf, cars, and her ability to make people laugh will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A devoted mother, Carol is survived by her loving children, Lois Pezzi (Cyrus Greenspon) and John Pezzi (Eileen). She was a cherished grandmother to Alexander David Pezzi, Lily Jane Greenspon, and Brian Christopher Pezzi, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
