Carol Ann Rule, born on January 29, 1954, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025. Carol was a loving mother, devoted sister, and cherished aunt whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Melissa Rule, who carries forward Carol's grace and strength. Carol shared strong bonds with her siblings, including Janet (Patrick) Carroll, Larry (Darlene), Kevin, Mark (Debi), and Scott. The love of a sister was evident in her life, and her legacy will continue through them.
Carol was also a proud aunt to her nephews and nieces, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is survived by Matthew (Alison) Carroll, Tricia (Conor) Pitkin, Laura (Jason) Pool, Lindsay (Cole) Butcher, Jennifer Bay, Stacie Spelbrink, Michael Spelbrink, Julie Spelbrink, and Jodie Spelbrink. Additionally, she will be remembered fondly by many great nephews, nieces, and cousins who were fortunate to know her warmth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Denise Spelbrink, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience that she carried throughout her life. Carol also mourned the loss of her brothers, Glenn Spelbrink and Keith Spelbrink, whose memories she cherished deeply.
Carol A. Rule’s life was a testament to love, family, and friendship. She touched many lives and leaves a lasting impact through the memories she created with her family and friends. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
