Carol J. Stringer (nee Carol J. Conrad), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late William "Bill" Stringer; beloved daughter of the late Cledith Conway and Linda Louise Conrad; devoted mother of Doreen Clynes, and Deanna (Todd) Greeves; cherished grandmother of Zac (Cassie McMillin) Clynes, Aaron (Jessica) Clynes, Jake Greeves, and Joey Greeves; treasured great grandmother of River Clynes.
Carol shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bill, before his passing. Together, they cherished moments of dancing and spending time with one another. Carol had a wide range of interests, including sewing, reading, crafting, gardening, painting, and shopping. She was deeply spiritual, selfless, and incredibly generous, always putting others before herself. A devoted woman of faith, she cared deeply for those around her. Carol found joy in cooking, doting on her Bitty, and being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved entertaining friends and creating warm, welcoming moments. Carol was deeply cherished and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Memorials may be made in Carol's name to American Cancer Society.
